Who we are Rock N Acres Animal Rescue was founded in October 2002 by animal lovers who wanted to help animals of all kinds. Since RNAs inception, hundreds of animals, from Chihuahuas to horses, have made their way to the care of Rock N Acres Animal Rescue and ultimately into wonderful and forever homes. United and inspired by our compassion for all animals, we focus on saving dogs, cats, and other animals destined to be euthanized in county pounds, ones that are abused and neglected, ones that are running scared, hungry, and tired in the middle of nowhere and we take in several owner surrenders that do not want to take them to the pound. We train, rehabilitate, and work with all rescued animals on a one-on-one basis. We specialize in "troubled or problem" animals. We are a private run rescue program. We are a group of all volunteers and foster homes throughout Middle Tennessee that comprise Rock N Acres's membership. All of our animals are fostered out into different private homes. We are here for the animals that can not help themselves. We take in any animal that is in need of placement and help when space is available. *Birds, Reptiles, Dogs, Cats, Livestock, Horses, Farm animals, fowl, Rodents, Etc.*

Our Mission Statement Rock N Acres Animal Rescue's Mission is to rescue abused, Injured, neglected, and unwanted animals and find permanent loving homes for them. Our organization strongly believes that all animals deserve respect and should be treated with dignity in all circumstances. The ultimate goal of this program is to have most if not all people share this philosophy, creating a healthier and kinder community for humans and animals alike. Rock N Acres is a "No - Kill" animal rescue program helping dogs, cats, reptiles, horses, and other animals needing sanctuary. No animal will be euthanized unless there is a terminal illness or mortal injury. All reasonable measures will be taken prior to making this decision.
