We are located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. 30 Minutes south of Nashville off I-24. We do not have a place for everyone to come. All animals are fostered out. An appointment is set if you want to see an animal.

What is the adoption process?
The adoption process is very easy to follow. Our adoption procedure includes a questionnaire, contract and an adoption fee. First you must fill out an adoption application. Once we look over the application we will contact you if you are approved. If you are approved, We will arrange a time and date to do a home visit.

Where do the animals come from?
The animals in our rescue comes from different places. Several are owner surrenders. Some of the aniamls are from other shelters and come as strays. Strays we hold for 2 weeks to try to locate an owner. If we can not locate an owner, the animal will be placed for adoption.

What if you have an animal nobody wants?
We feel all animals can be adopted, it is just a matter of finding the right person. There is someone for everyone. If we have a dog or cat or hamster, etc., that is not adopted and they meet our criteria for an adoptable animal than they have a home with us for life.

Why do you ask for donations when people leave animals at your facility?
Because we want people to own up to their responsibility to the animals in their care. The fee help with the cost of initial care. If we waive this donation fee it is because we feel that a person can not legitimately make a contribution due to the circumstances in their life at that time.

What is the adoption fee and what is it for?
The adoption fee depends on the animal and how much we have in that animal. The adoption fee is used to help offset some of the cost needed to operate our rescue. Animals are current on All shots which includes Dhppcv, Rabies, and Bortatella , current on worming and flea and tick preventative
