We are located in the Middle Tennessee area. Just south of Nashville. We do not have a place for everyone to come. We are a private run rescue with jobs of our own outside of the rescue. All of our animals are fostered out into different homes.. An appointment is set if you want to see an animal. But first you MUST complete the adoption application before any appointment is set.

The adoption process is very easy to follow. Our adoption procedure includes a questionnaire, contract and an adoption fee. First you must fill out an adoption application. Once we look over the application we will contact you if you are approved. If you are approved, We will arrange a time and date to do a home visit.

The animals in our rescue comes from different places. Some are owner surrenders. Some of the aniamls are from other shelters and come as strays. Strays we hold for 2 weeks to try to locate an owner. If we can not locate an owner, the animal will be placed for adoption.

We feel all animals can be adopted, it is just a matter of finding the right person. There is someone for everyone. If we have a dog or cat or hamster, etc., that is not adopted and they meet our criteria for an adoptable animal than they have a home with us.

Because we want people to own up to their responsibility to the animals in their care. The fee help with the cost of initial care. If we waive this donation fee it is because we feel that a person can not legitimately make a contribution due to the circumstances in their life at that time. We do not ask for any funding to take an animal in. It is up to you to help with the care of the pet.

The adoption fee depends on the animal and how much we have in that animal. The adoption fee is used to help offset some of the cost needed to operate our rescue. Animals are current on All shots which includes Dhppcv, Rabies, and Bortatella , current on worming and flea and tick preventative. Some are altered. If not altered, then we require a refundable deposit required by law to insure that animal will be altered.
